Resum:

El professor visitant Paulo Lemos Horta presentarà l’article en curs “Farrar, Straus and Giroux and the Publishing of Foreign Minority Fiction in the United States”, que es discutirà juntament amb un text de Gisèle Sapiro al seminari Seminari Internacional sobre estudis literaris globals, organitzat pel grup GlobaLS, el proper Dimarts 13, 11,30-13,30h a la sala -201 de Tibi 3. 

Bio:

Paulo Lemos Horta és l’autor de Marvellous Thieves: Secret Authors of the Arabian Nights (Harvard UP, 2017), coeditor amb Bruce Robbins de Cosmopolitanisms, (NYU Press, 2017), i editor de la nova traducció d’ Aladdin (Liveright/Norton, 2018). Les seves publicacions han estat traduïdes a diverses llengües, entre d’elles el francès, el portuguès i el turc. El treball en curs que presenta aquesta setmana és part d’un manuscrit del llibre ja contractat per Harvard UP, “Rotten Little Worlds”: How Latin America Shaped Global Fiction. És Associate Professor of Literature and Creative Writing a New York University Abu Dhabi.
